Going to Japan has always been a dream of mine but it wouldn’t have been possible without many of these financial aid sources. My suggestion: research, research, research. There are many more study abroad grants and scholarships than I could have imagined. Here are some of the best ones that I’ve found…


Study Abroad Scholarships:

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
Apply: Semester before departure
How much: up to $5000

Connelly-Delouvrier Scholarship (Villanova ONLY)
Apply: Spring before departure year (ex. Applied Spring 2011 for a Spring 2012 departure)
How much: Villanova Semester tuition, approx. $20000!!!
